Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Nubly account (the Nubly app, ai.nubly.microtransit) and the personal data associated with it. It is the deletion process referenced in our Privacy Policy. Nubly is operated by Nubly AI, LLC.

How to request deletion

You can request that your account and personal data be deleted at any time:

1. By email. Send a message to support@nubly.ai from the email address on your Nubly account, with the subject line "Account deletion request." We use the matching email address to verify the request is yours.
2. In the app. A "Delete account" option is available in the Account section (under Support). You can also use the email path above at any time.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, we cascade the deletion across our user, trip, payment, and notification systems and remove the personal data that identifies you, including:

• Account info — your first name, email address, phone number, role (rider/driver), and any optional gender-matching preference.
• Vehicle info (drivers) — make, model, color, and license plate.
• Payment and payout references — the card brand/last-four/expiration mirror we keep and your Stripe Connect account reference. Full card and bank details are held only by our payment processor (Stripe), never by Nubly.
• Sign-in identity — the LinkedIn OpenID profile reference used to sign you in.
• Device identifiers — your push-notification token(s).

What we keep, and why

A few categories cannot be fully erased on request, because they are either legally required or belong to another member's record. In those cases we remove or sever the link to you:

• Shared-trip records are anonymized rather than deleted. A completed trip belongs to both people in the car; if we erased it entirely, the other person would lose part of their trip history and rating average. So we strip your name, contact details, and account references and keep the trip under a pseudonymous identifier. Anonymization is one-way — the original identifiers cannot be recovered.
• Trip and payment records are retained for the period required by U.S. tax and accounting rules (generally seven years), in anonymized form where possible.
• Rating comments remain part of the platform's reputation system, tied to the pseudonymous identifier above rather than to your name.
• Security and audit logs are retained up to 18 months, or longer if needed for an ongoing investigation, then discarded.

How long it takes

We confirm receipt of your request and complete it within 45 days, as required by the CCPA/CPRA (with one possible 45-day extension if reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you). Live location data is never part of this wait — it is held only in temporary memory during a trip and discarded within minutes of the trip ending.
